What is vibration isolation?
Noise pollution often results from vibrations of appliances. Think of a functioning heat pump or hydrofoil. These vibrations are transmitted to the surrounding spaces via contact with the ground or the adjacent structure. This causes so-called contact noise.
Vibration insulation prevents this transfer. By applying special decoupling materials, the vibration is damped before it spreads. This keeps the adjacent rooms quieter and improves the acoustics of the environment.
