EASYfoam FireSeal | Pyramid foam is a sound‑absorbing solution with a pyramid structure, suitable for visible applications and public spaces.
The structure of the foam enables effective absorption of sound waves, reducing reverberation and unwanted reflections.
The pyramid foam is produced using EASYfoam FireSeal and combines strong sound‑absorption performance with enhanced fire safety. Its open‑cell structure and relatively high density contribute to stable and reliable acoustic performance in environments where both acoustic and safety requirements apply. EASYfoam FireSeal | Pyramid foam is therefore a fire‑safe alternative to standard egg‑crate foam.
Thanks to the self‑adhesive backing, the foam is easy to apply to various surfaces. The material is produced in Europe and is available as standard in sheets measuring 96 × 48 cm with a thickness of 50 mm.

Product sheetMaterial and Composition
EASYfoam FireSeal | Pyramid foam is manufactured from flame‑retardant modified polyurethane foam based on EASYfoam FireSeal. The material has an open‑cell structure with a relatively high density (90 kg/m³), which ensures stable acoustic performance and long‑lasting quality. The uniform cell structure contributes to a neat and refined appearance, making the product suitable for visible applications.
Fire safety
EASYfoam FireSeal | Pyramid foam is manufactured from EASYfoam FireSeal. This material is fire‑safe and complies with EN 13501 class C-s1-d0. As a result, the pyramid foam is suitable for use in residential and public spaces.
Application
EASYfoam FireSeal | Pyramid foam is suitable for a wide range of applications, both in professional and residential environments.
Thanks to its combination of sound absorption, fire safety and clean appearance, the material is ideal for use in public areas, offices and commercial buildings. In addition, the pyramid foam is widely used in music studios, home studios and home cinemas, where good acoustics and a neat finish are essential. EASYfoam FireSeal | Pyramid foam is the fire‑safe alternative to standard egg‑crate foam.
The panels fit together seamlessly, creating a clean and uniform surface without visible joints.
Installation and Handling
EASYfoam FireSeal | Pyramid foam is equipped with a self‑adhesive backing, allowing for quick and easy installation. For optimal adhesion, the substrate must be clean, dry, and free from dust and grease.
The material can be easily cut to size using a utility knife or band saw. For rough or uneven surfaces, we recommend pre‑treating one side of the substrate with contact adhesive to ensure durable and reliable bonding.
To guarantee the performance of the adhesive layer, you should apply our self‑adhesive products within six months of purchase.

FAQ
What distinguishes EASYfoam FireSeal Pyramid foam from standard pyramid foam?
EASYfoam FireSeal Pyramid foam is produced from a heavier, more robust, and fire-resistant base material, making it ideally suited for direct installation on construction surfaces, such as in a dance or music studio. Thanks to the strong self-adhesive layer, the material is easy to install.
Where in a room should you place pyramid foam for the best results?
The correct placement depends on the type of space and the activity taking place. In general, wall or ceiling mounting yields the best results.
How much pyramid foam do I need per m² for optimal acoustics?
This depends on the application. A coverage of 30% to 40% already makes a noticeable difference. In some situations, such as a sound studio, full coverage of the surface is required to optimally improve the acoustics.
How does pyramid foam contribute to better acoustics?
Our pyramid foam has an open cell structure, which absorbs sound reflections. This improves the acoustics in the space. In addition to its acoustic function, pyramid foam is also often used in visual applications due to its aesthetic appearance.
Is it possible to create cut-outs for power outlets or installations?
Yes, the material can be easily cut to size with a sharp knife. This allows for quick and precise cutouts for, for example, sockets or installations.
