EASYmass are sound insulation panels made of a flexible sound-insulating plastic and feature a smooth decorative finish. The variant with a density of 14 kg/m² is also equipped with a jute backing, providing additional internal tensile strength and facilitating easy adhesion to the substrate. The panels are composed of a polymer filled with the natural mineral barium sulfate, without the addition of heavy metals or bitumen.

When EASYmass is used to add weight to an existing structure, such as a wall or floor, the sound insulation can improve by approximately 3 dB for each doubling of the mass. EASYmass is most effective when the substrate is not heavier than the EASYmass panels themselves.

Certainly. A wooden floor construction inherently has relatively low mass. By adding mass plates, you can achieve a noticeable difference in sound insulation with a limited increase in height. Additionally, the mass plates help seal any gaps in the wooden floor construction, thereby closing sound leaks.

The flexibility of the mass sheets depends on the selected variant. The sheets weighing 7.5 kg/m² with a thickness of 3 mm are easy to roll and handle, for example with a sharp utility knife. The sheets weighing 14 kg/m² with a thickness of 7 mm are relatively stiff and therefore only suitable for flat surfaces.

Clean the substrate, removing dust and grease. The final application depends on the situation in which the bulk sheets are used. You can glue the sheets, attach them mechanically (for example, with screws), and in some cases, they can even be installed loose.
