EASYbond vibration isolation is available in two thicknesses: 1 cm and 3 cm, with dimensions of 100 x 50 cm.

Additionally, the 1 cm thick variant is also available in sheets of 100 x 100 cm. Furthermore, this thickness is available in strips of 100 x 4 cm, which is convenient for, for example, freestanding walls.

This EASYbond is ideal for placing directly on the floor. On top of this, you can then lay the parquet or laminate. Ensure that the parquet or laminate does not make contact with the walls for optimal performance.

On a wooden floor, this product can be excellently combined with EASYmass 14 kg/m2. This combination helps to minimize both the transmission of airborne noise (such as from the TV or voices) and impact noise (sound from footsteps) to the neighbors as much as possible.

EASYbond is made from recycled polyurethane foams, giving it a "multicolored" appearance that may vary from batch to batch. This is why it is also referred to as flake foam.

EASYbond vibration insulation helps reduce vibrations and noise nuisance. It is suitable for: 

• Household appliances– Ideal for under washing machines and dryers to dampen vibrations and reduce sound transmission. 
• Building and construction– Reduces structural vibrations and impact noise, such as footsteps or music, in buildings. EASYbond is used as a sound-dampening material in floating floors or partition walls, for example. 
• Industrial applications– Suitable as a vibration dampening material for machine support and reducing mechanical vibrations.

The benefits include reducing noise pollution and impact noise, protecting equipment from damage due to vibrations, and extending the lifespan of machinery. 

For use as an underlayer directly beneath a floor finish, such as carpet or laminate, we recommend the 1 cm thick variant. This option is easy to install without requiring major modifications to the floor.

The 3 cm thick variant is softer and provides better cushioning. This type is combined with a structural top layer, also known as a floating screed. Since this setup increases the floor height by approximately 4 cm, it is less suitable for residential homes with limited space.

Applying a floating screed offers the best sound reduction for impact noise, but it is a more structural intervention that is typically used in new construction or renovation projects.
