    Adhesive strength

Extreme Tack adhesive is specially developed for bonding acoustic materials to various surfaces, such as concrete, wood, plaster, and masonry.

This product is ready for immediate use, requires no ventilation time, and provides exceptional initial tack strength of over 20 g/cm².

    Packaging

The adhesive is available in a practical 310 ml cartridge, suitable for use with a standard caulking gun.

    Recommended usage conditions

For optimal performance, the Extreme Tack mounting adhesive should be used at a minimum temperature of 18 °C and a maximum ambient humidity of 75% (max. 65%). Ensure that the substrate is clean, dry, and level before you begin applying the adhesive. Only under these conditions is optimal adhesion guaranteed.

    Processing and consumption

    Preparation:
Before starting, ensure the surface is thoroughly clean and suitable for bonding. Sweep or vacuum the substrate to remove dust and debris. If necessary, sand the surface to create a smooth, even base. Carefully remove any anti-adhesive agents, loose layers, or non-adhering elements.

    Application:
Cut the nozzle of the cartridge at an angle and place it in a standard caulking gun. Apply the adhesive in uniform beads to the material to be bonded or directly onto the substrate. For optimal adhesion, a layer thickness of 2–3 mm is recommended, depending on the material and application. The open time is approximately 15 minutes at 20 °C.

    Consumption per Material:

    • EASYpol Polyester Wool:
For boards with a density of 20 kg/m³, the average consumption is 0.5 kg per m². This means one 310 ml cartridge is sufficient for bonding approximately 1.5 boards of 120 x 100 cm. For higher-density boards, such as 40 kg/m³, the consumption increases to an average of 0.8 kg per m². In this case, plan for one cartridge per board of 120 x 100 cm. Actual consumption may vary depending on the substrate.
    • Pyracoustic Melamine Foam:
For self-adhesive variants of Pyracoustic melamine foam, consumption ranges between 0.35 and 0.5 kg per m².
    • EASYmass Soundproofing Panels:
When bonding to floors, consumption is approximately 1 to 1.25 kg per m². For vertical or horizontal mounting, EASYmass panels also require mechanical fastening.

    Storage and transportation instruction

Always store and transport the adhesive at temperatures above freezing to maintain its quality. To ensure a maximum shelf life of 12 months, store the adhesive in a frost-free, dry, and cool environment. Additionally, ensure that transport is conducted in frost-free conditions.
