    • High initial adhesion

The High-Tack Mounting Adhesive is specifically designed for securely attaching ceiling panels such as Pyracoustic, Master, and Sonar Activity. With its high initial adhesive strength, this glue is perfect for both ceiling and wall applications. The adhesive is solvent-free and can be easily applied with a caulking gun. Each cartridge contains 290 ml of adhesive.

    Adhesion

The HIGH TACK adhesive is a high-quality 1-component mounting adhesive based on MS-Polymer. Thanks to its very high initial adhesion to various substrates, it is often unnecessary to support the adhesive bond. This adhesive is odorless, free of silicones, and isocyanate. Upon application, the HIGH TACK reacts with the humidity from the environment, forming a durable and elastic rubber.

    Features
    • Very high initial adhesion
    • Rapid buildup of internal strength
    • Excellent UV resistance and resistance to aging
    • Solvent-free, isocyanate-free, and PVC-free
    • Remains elastic in the temperature range of -40°C to +100°C
    • Generally excellent adhesion to various substrates without primer
    • Neutral, odorless, and fast curing
    • Does not cause corrosion in metal bonding
    • Not recommended for application on PE, PP, Teflon, and bituminous substrates and expansion joints
    • Not paintable with alkyd resin paint, may yellow in dark spaces
    Applications

HIGH TACK is suitable for bonding various materials in construction, including:

    • Panels
    • Baseboards
    • Window sills
    • Strips
    • Thresholds
    • Mirrors
    • Insulation materials such as mineral wool, wood wool cement, and plastic foams
    • Sound insulation panels (such as PUR, PIR, PS)
    • Frames and frames in building constructions
    • Wooden and plastic cladding, ornaments, and moldings
    • Bodywork and metal seams
    • Bonding in shipbuilding

In general, HIGH TACK adheres well to various building materials, including glass, glazed surfaces, enamels, epoxy, polyester panels, polystyrene, hard PVC, polycarbonate, PU, stainless steel, anodized aluminum, copper, zinc, lead, and painted wood and HPL sheets. For porous substrates such as concrete and plaster, the use of a primer is recommended.

    Processing

HIGH TACK is best applied with the supplied triangular nozzle, applying it in beads on the substrate or the elements to be bonded.

For optimal results, HIGH TACK should be applied to a clean, dry, and load-bearing surface. Clean and degrease the surface if necessary with Carrosol and allow it to evaporate completely before applying HIGH TACK.

For "ventilated" bonding, we recommend applying vertical beads approximately 30 cm apart. The use of double-sided adhesive tape 3 mm thick is recommended to ensure that the adhesive bead does not become too thin.

If the adhesive layer does not need to accommodate significant deformations between the building components, a thinner adhesive layer (minimum 1.5 mm) can be used, especially in interior applications.

HIGH TACK can be applied with a hand or pneumatic caulking gun at temperatures between +5°C and 40°C.

Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are brought together within 10 to 15 minutes (at 23°C/55% RH) after applying HIGH TACK. The material can then be adjusted before being firmly pressed or lightly tapped with a rubber mallet.

Removing uncured residues of HIGH TACK and cleaning tools can be done with Carrosol. Once HIGH TACK has cured, it can only be removed mechanically.
