The Cyclin Pure insulation board is highly versatile and can be used as insulation for roofs, floors, and cavity filling between walls. Thanks to its acoustic properties, it is also suitable as a sound-absorbing filler for panels.
In addition to its excellent acoustic performance, the flexible insulation boards provide outstanding thermal insulation. Furthermore, the fibres do not cause irritation to the skin or respiratory system, making them comfortable to handle. The boards are available in a standard size of 120 x 60 cm.
Cyclin Pure circular insulation board is an exceptionally sustainable product, made from cellulose fibres upcycled from paper and cardboard waste streams. This makes it not only environmentally friendly but also a 100% circular solution.

Cyclin Pure insulation boards are made from residual streams of newspaper and are classified as biobased materials. By using waste-derived materials, you actively contribute to reducing landfill waste. Additionally, they are fully recyclable, ensuring a closed-loop system where the material can be reused repeatedly. Production takes place in the Netherlands, supporting local manufacturing and minimising transport impact.
During production, only 6% bi-component synthetic fibre is used for binding—the lowest percentage available on the market. This helps reduce environmental impact and lower CO₂ emissions. By choosing Cyclin Pure, you contribute to a more sustainable future and the preservation of the environment.
Dimensions
Cyclin Pure insulation boards are available online in dimensions of 120 x 60 cm, with standard thicknesses of 40 mm and 70 mm. Other sizes and thicknesses are available on request, ranging from 30 to 80 mm. The density of Cyclin Pure is approximately 80 kg/m³.
Acoustic properties
Cyclin Pure offers excellent acoustic performance. At a thickness of 40 mm, it has an alpha-w value of 0.9, while at 70 mm, it achieves an alpha-w value of 1.0.
Thermal properties
The material is made from cellulose. Thanks to its thermal properties, it helps keep your building cool in summer and warm in winter.
For a thickness of 40 mm, the thermal resistance (Rd) and water vapour diffusion resistance (μ) are as follows:
- Thermal resistance (Rd): 1.06 m²K/W
- Water vapour diffusion resistance (μ): 1.1
For a thickness of 70 mm, the values are:
- Thermal resistance (Rd): 1.84 m²K/W
- Water vapour diffusion resistance (μ): 1.1
Installation
Measure the surfaces to be insulated carefully. Cut the insulation to size using an insulation knife, allowing for a slight excess to ensure a snug fit in the cavity and prevent gaps. Firmly position the insulation between walls, floors, or roof structures. For optimal performance, it is essential to seal all seams and gaps properly. Finally, close the construction with plasterboard or another finishing layer.
