EASYfoam PU meets the flame-retardant standards FMVSS 302 and UL-94 class HF1. The material withstands temperatures up to 90°C, while the self-adhesive layer is heat resistant up to 70°C.

For optimal adhesion of the self-adhesive layer, it is important that the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust and grease. If the surface is rough or uneven, we recommend treating it with a layer of mounting adhesive to ensure good adhesion. The foam can be easily cut.

To guarantee the performance of the adhesive layer, you should apply our self‑adhesive products within six months of purchase.

We offer the possibility to cut acoustic materials to size in-house, providing you with a ready-to-use solution that perfectly matches your specific application. EASYfoam PU is suitable for the following applications:

The material is not suitable for outdoor use. For this, we recommend EASYwhisper, a water- and UV-resistant product suitable for outdoor applications.

Although we conduct careful checks, visual irregularities may still occur, such as differences in color, streaks, or irregular cells, etc. It's important to note that no rights can be derived from these.

EASYfoam PU is a high-quality open-cell polyurethane foam with an oil- and moisture-resistant top layer. This material is widely used in environments where sound absorption is important and where moisture or oil may be present.

EASYfoam PU is an effective sound-absorbing material. Its performance is expressed in the αw value, which indicates the proportion of sound that is absorbed rather than reflected back into the space. A higher αw value means less reverberation and a noticeably better acoustic environment.

The absorption chart in the datasheet shows, for each frequency, how the material performs at low, mid, and high tones. This allows you to easily determine whether EASYfoam PU is suitable for your specific application or sound issue.

EASYfoam PU is easy to install thanks to the strong self-adhesive layer. For a good and durable bond, it is important that the surface is completely grease-free and dust-free. Then remove the protective film and press the material firmly onto the surface. This allows the adhesive layer to bond optimally and the foam to stay in place for a long time.

EASYfoam PU is especially suitable for industrial environments where the noise source can release oil and moisture. The oil and moisture-resistant top layer ensures that the material retains its shape and function in conditions where extra protection is desired.

For outdoor applications or environments with prolonged exposure to rain, wind, or UV light, we recommend EASYwhisper, thanks to the high weather resistance of that material.

The lifespan of EASYfoam PU depends on the conditions in which it is used. When the material is properly installed and well maintained, you can expect a minimum lifespan of 10 years.

Yes, EASYfoam PU is easy to cut to size yourself with a sharp utility knife. Cut along a straight line or ruler for the best result.
