The acoustic properties of EASYwhisper remain fully intact after exposure to water and humidity. The material successfully withstands the strict EN 12088 28-day condensation test. EASYwhisper retains 100% of its acoustic performance, without requiring a water barrier, protective foil, or perforated metal front plate.

EASYwhisper | Indoor is resistant to temperatures from –40 °C to +80 °C. Additionally, the material complies with fire ratings EN 13501-1 class B‑s2-d0 and DIN 4102 class B1.

EASYwhisper is quick and easy to cut to size using conventional tools such as a handsaw or sharp knife.

After transport, EASYwhisper should be stored horizontally, indoors, and on a completely flat surface. The material must not be exposed to temperatures outside the range of –60 °C to +80 °C.

Although EASYwhisper is waterproof, it should not be fully submerged or soaked prior to installation.

For optimal processing, it is recommended to pre-condition the plates for 2 hours at a temperature of 15–30 °C, placed directly on the floor and free from packaging. This conditioning minimizes any dimensional changes caused by thermal expansion.

EASYwhisper can be mechanically fastened with an insulation sleeve or plug.
Adhesion is possible with Hightack Kit in combination with the EASYwhisper Flushmount Corkscrews. Since most adhesives do not bond directly to EASYwhisper, the corkscrew provides the necessary bonding base for a durable installation.

For ceiling applications, EASYwhisper can be installed as a standalone element or as a baffle, mounted using the EASYwhisper Hanging Corkscrews.

The plates can expand up to 3% at temperatures between –60 °C and +80 °C. In indoor environments, this expansion is generally minimal because extreme temperature variations occur less frequently.

The EASYwhisper Indoor has been tested according to EN 13501‑1, class B‑s2-d0, making it suitable for indoor applications where impact resistance and/or moisture resistance are important.

The EASYwhisper Outdoor is weather-resistant and therefore suitable for all weather conditions, making this variant ideal for outdoor situations.

EASYwhisper Indoor does not absorb water, unlike many common foam materials. As a result, mold and bacteria cannot adhere to, nest, or develop on or within the material. This makes EASYwhisper Indoor particularly suitable for humid environments where acoustic comfort is desired, such as swimming pools, sports facilities, and production rooms.

We strongly advise against painting or finishing sound-absorbing material. A coat of paint or finish seals off the open structure of the material, which negatively impacts its acoustic performance. As a result, the panel absorbs less sound and its sound absorption properties deteriorate noticeably.

Thanks to the honeycomb-like structure, the material is sturdy and impact-resistant. This makes it well-suited for intensive use, making it ideal for sports halls and gymnasiums.

Yes, the material can easily be cut to size with a sharp utility knife.

EASYwhisper Indoor is an sound-absorbing material. This means that the panel reduces sound reflections, thereby improving the acoustics in the space.

However, the material is not intended to prevent sound transmission between spaces. For this, sound-insulating solutions are needed, such as a partition wall.
